Dare to Remember
Like a screaming bird.
I yell for memory to abade.
Memories of dust tucked between boundries of thought,
Makes everything dirty.
I frown; drink more drink;
fill my tank.
This is not the whiskey talking yet.
I'm walking without advancing.
It is dry and dull in heavy air.
The morning sun,
Does not mourn for anyone.
I owe her a grudge;
I wish not.
I think temporarily,
Deep disturbing flash backs,
Giving memory power.
We were invisible people,
Living without souls.
Leaning on each other,
With broken smiles.
Do I dare remember,
Planting seeds for future storms,
Dragging burdens around,
Like curses?
She went one way,
I went another,
Because a bunch of hurt,
Wounded our hearts,
And replaced our dreams
Like a screaming bird.
I yell for memory to abade.
Memories of dust tucked between boundries of thought,
Makes everything dirty.
I frown; drink more drink;
fill my tank.
This is not the whiskey talking yet.
I'm walking without advancing.
It is dry and dull in heavy air.

I owe her a grudge;
